Six extremely important measurements
1. The drum has a width of 4 meters and 2 meters and a length of 25 meters.
When measuring your lawn, be sure to remember that the artificial grassland we provide is 4 meters and 2 meters wide.
We can cut anything up to 25 meters in length, up to 100 millimeters, depending on how much you need.
When measuring lawn, measure width and length, and calculate the best way to lay grass, in order to minimize waste.
2. Always measure the widest and longest point of the lawn.
When measuring a lawn, be sure to measure both the widest and longest points to see if you need more than one roll of artificial lawn.
This is particularly important for curved lawns.
If you need to use two rollers to cover the width side by side, please mark the position of the connection, and then measure the length of each roll. Unless your garden has a perfect 90 degree angle, even if it's roughly square or rectangular, it's possible that one scroll needs to be a little longer than the other.

Three. Consider expanding beds to reduce waste
Suppose your lawn size is 4.2 meters x 4.2 meters; the only way to cover the area is to order two rolls of artificial grass, one with a size of 4 meters x 4.2 meters and the other with a size of 2 meters x 4.2 meters.
This will result in a waste of about 7.5 square meters.
Therefore, extending along an edge or creating a plant bed can save a lot of money and reduce one of the measurements to 4 meters. In this way, you only need a roll 4 meters wide and 4.2 meters long.
Additional tips: In order to create a low maintenance plant bed, lay some slate or decorative stone on the weed film. You can also put the pots on top and add some green.
4. Permit 100 mm at each end of each volume to allow cutting and error.
After you measure your lawn and calculate how long it takes for your reel, you need to add 100 millimetres of grass at each end to allow cutting and measuring errors.
We can mow the grass to the nearest 100mm. We strongly recommend adding 100mm at each end of the artificial grass, so that if you make a mistake, you still have enough space to try cutting again.
It also leaves a little room for measurement errors.
For example, if your lawn size is 6m x 6m, please order two rolls, one is 2m x 6.2m and the other is 4m x 6.2m.
You don't need to add any extra width to the width, because our rolls 4 and 2 meters wide are actually 4.1 and 2.05 meters wide, which allows trimming 3 needles to form an invisible connection from the artificial grassland.
5. Consider the weight of grass
When ordering artificial grass, always consider the weight of the roll.
You can find detailed information about the weight of our products on our website.
Instead of ordering 4 m x 10 m rolls, you may find it easier to order 2 m x 10 m rolls because they are much lighter to carry.
Or, you'd better lay the grass across the lawn, not up and down, or vice versa, so that you can use smaller, lighter reels.
Of course, it depends on the weight of artificial grass, but in general, up to two people can lift up to 30 square meters of grass in a roll.
In addition, you need a third helper or carpet cart to put your grass in the right place.
6. Consider the direction of the pile
When you look closely at the artificial grassland, you will find that it has a slight direction of accumulation. This is true of all artificial grasses, regardless of their quality.
It's important to remember that for two reasons.
First of all, in an ideal world, your bunch of artificial grasslands will look at you from the angle of most places, that is, you will see that bunch.
This is usually considered the most beautiful angle, which usually means that the pile faces your house and/or terrace area.
Secondly, when measuring lawns, you need to remember that if you need to use multi-roll artificial grassland, both grasslands need to be oriented in the same direction to form an invisible connection.
If the direction of the piles on the two grasslands is different, the color of each roll of grass will be slightly different.
It's very important to remember that if you're going to fill some areas of your lawn with corners.
Therefore, when measuring the lawn, we must remember the direction of the pile.
